Blake Lively is my favorite Fashion Icon! Her fashion approach is FLAWLESS down to the dot. If I had the chance to choose someone to swap lives, wardrobe (especially) and looks for a day- i would say her name in a heart beat. I am sooo proud to announce that one of my close friends from LA (Jessica Comingore of Destined to Design) has launched her very own Online Magazine called,  Collected. There you will find timeless features on people, fashion, food and products that are all meticulously crafted and well designed. I am so proud of you Jess- Congrats and Cheers to many more issues.

A Mother loves right from the start.

She holds her baby close to her heart. 

The bond that grows will never falter.

Her love is so strong it will never alter. 

A Mother gives never ending Love. 

She never feels that she has given enough.

For you she will always do her best. 

Constantly working, there's no time to rest. 

A Mother is there when things go wrong.

A hug and a kiss to help us along. 

Always there when we need her near. 

Gently wipes our eyes when we shed a tear. 

So on this day shower your Mother with Love. 

Gifts and presents are nice but that is not enough. 

Give your Mother a day to have some peace of mind. 

Be gentle, be good, be helpful, be kind.

April showers bring May flowers

Every year when spring comes around, I anxiously wait for one of my favorite trees/flowers to bloom: The Cherry Blossom Tree. While reading some articles, I came upon some interesting facts about the Cherry Blossom Trees. They were first given to the USA by the Japanese in the early 1900's to celebrate the nations' then growing friendship and ever since then all over the US, Cherry Blossom Festivals are held to celebrate these gorgeous trees.

Met Gala 2011

This year, the Met Gala honored Alexander McQueen as designer of the year. Many celebrities like Gisele Bundchen chose to wear a look from McQueen's collection. This was a special honor for her because he was one of the designers that helped catapult her career. Here are a couple of my personal favorites from the red carpet:

Royal Wedding- Modern Day Fairy Tale

I know its been all over the news and media for the past 6 months- but now the day has finally come. In less than 48 hours, Prince William will FINALLY marry Catherine Middleton! I am so excited to be living through this historic, fairy tale moment. I will be one of BILLIONS of people watching this friday at 1am. Will you tune in? Congrats & Cheers!!

Over 100,000 Toothpicks in 35 years- Masterpiece!

What in the world can you do with over 100,000 toothpicks over the course of 35 years- A replica of San Francisco's multiple sight seeing attractions- of course! Scott Weaver's amazing art sculpture allows you to go on "tour" of different parts of the city and is displayed in the Tinkering Studio. Pretty amazing if you ask me. The details and precision are show stopping.
