Hot Summer iGadgets

Recently I purchased the "Olloclip" from Apple and recommend it. Its a fun way to capture a wide-angle, macro, and fish eye effects on-the-go. The only negative thing about it is that it covers up the flash so you cant really use it when its dark. Ive been noticing many new gadgets popping up everywhere for your ipad/iphones... here are just a few that I found on "Photojojo"...

Shutter Remote: Shoot photos and videos up to 30 feet away
Card reader: Upload photos directly to your iPad

April showers bring May flowers

Every year when spring comes around, I anxiously wait for one of my favorite trees/flowers to bloom: The Cherry Blossom Tree. While reading some articles, I came upon some interesting facts about the Cherry Blossom Trees. They were first given to the USA by the Japanese in the early 1900's to celebrate the nations' then growing friendship and ever since then all over the US, Cherry Blossom Festivals are held to celebrate these gorgeous trees.
Take a look at how lovely they look in NYC's Central Park- Spring is finally here!

Over 100,000 Toothpicks in 35 years- Masterpiece!

What in the world can you do with over 100,000 toothpicks over the course of 35 years- A replica of San Francisco's multiple sight seeing attractions- of course! Scott Weaver's amazing art sculpture allows you to go on "tour" of different parts of the city and is displayed in the Tinkering Studio. Pretty amazing if you ask me. The details and precision are show stopping.

Ciao! Eataly comes to L.A

For those of you that haven't heard of a little piece of heaven on earth called "Eataly" in NYC- well I recommend you get to know it so that you can appreciate the good news I'm about to announce. The word on the street is that Eataly is coming to L.A!! Everything is still under negotiation but the location would be somewhere in West Hollywood.

Here is a little inside scoop for those of you that don't have a clue to what Eataly is:
Located in NYC's FlatIron District, Eataly is a 50,000 square foot Italian gourmet market. Each specific item such as pasta, salumi, fresh mozzarella, etc. has its own section within this market. If that isn't enough to knock your socks off- Eataly sells a vast selection of Italian products that no other market has access to. In the midst of all this excitement, I forgot to mention another wonderful thing about Eataly... There are restaurants inside too! They have specific restaurants devoted to pasta, pizza, fish, and even veggies. I wont even get started on the Wine and Dessert section- we would be here all day! It's like being in Italy without having to use up your miles- Perfetto!!

Arrivederci!!

Sun Kissed

Im (sadly) back from a wonderful week long Vacation in Hawaii. My gal friends and I had such a great time relaxing together. We were able to visit some amazing beachs, eat some local foods, and do some unforgettable activities that were on my "Bucket List".
