April showers bring May flowers

Every year when spring comes around, I anxiously wait for one of my favorite trees/flowers to bloom: The Cherry Blossom Tree. While reading some articles, I came upon some interesting facts about the Cherry Blossom Trees. They were first given to the USA by the Japanese in the early 1900's to celebrate the nations' then growing friendship and ever since then all over the US, Cherry Blossom Festivals are held to celebrate these gorgeous trees.

San Francisco, California

Interesting Facts: 

1. SF is the 4th most populous city in California and the 12th most populous city in the USA.

2. SF is give and take 7miles x 7miles (49.6 square miles) to be exact. 

but wait, there is more...

3. SF is known for its chilly summer fog, steep rolling hills, and eclectic mix of Victorian and modern architecture. 

4. Some famous landmarks include: Golden Gate Bridge, Cable Cars, and Chinatown.

Sun Kissed

Im (sadly) back from a wonderful week long Vacation in Hawaii. My gal friends and I had such a great time relaxing together. We were able to visit some amazing beachs, eat some local foods, and do some unforgettable activities that were on my "Bucket List".

Five of my close girl friends and I are going on vacation to Hawaii (Oahu) for a week on Saturday! I am almost fully packed (just a few more bikini's to throw in) ready to hit the beaches and (FINALLY)get my summer tan. Be back with tons of pictures and stories to tell after Labor Day =) 

Picnic Time

This past weekend, I was able to enjoy 2 picnics with some great friends. I have a feeling this summer will be full of outdoor picnics... I can't wait!

Sunny Weekend

Today was such a beautiful day- Too bad I was stuck inside doing work all day. As soon as I got home, I was able to enjoy the rest of the evening with my mom and puppy bella. We walked on beach and enjoyed the scenery before the beautiful sunset, it was perfect. Enjoy the sun while it lasts... rain is on the way again!

Welcome Spring {03-21-2010}

Spring is just around the corner and to speed things up, I found these adorable Pashley Cycles online...(They come in such fun colors).

My high school girlfriends and I are planning a Spring bike trip in San Francisco, CA along the Embarcadero, Golden Gate Bride, and Marina district.

This calls for some fresh-cut spring flowers in the bike basket =)
